All vendors, service providers, and contractors are required to check in with security located at the 4th Avenue entrance, and again prior to leaving at the completion of their day's work. All personnel working on the premises are issued a visitors badge, which shall be worn at all times while working on the premises.
After-hours access to the property must be approved in advance by building management. Access to a tenant space must be approved by an authorized tenant contact. Requests must be submitted to building management no later than 3:00 p.m. daily.
Vendors needing frequent on-going access to the building or a tenant space may request an electronic access card. Access cards can streamline the check in process, and eliminate the need to wait for a security officer to unlock a door. After-hours access to the Garage can also be provided. Contact building management to complete an application for an after-hours access card. Access cards granting access to a tenant space must be approved by an authorized tenant contact.
Procedures For Using Your Electronic Access Card After-Hours:
Garage Access: Upon entering the Garage after normal hours (after 6:00 p.m. and before 6:00 a.m., Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), you will need to stop at the rollup gate and scan your access card at the card reader to raise the gate. Please wait for the rollup gate to be completely raised before proceeding. The gate will lower automatically once your vehicle has cleared it. The card will be needed once again at the bottom of the ramp to raise the gate arm.
Building Access: Upon entering the building after normal hours, you will be required to "swipe" your card over the "ENTRY" card reader on the right side of the Security Console on the first floor of the Tower. Security will verify that you have authorized access and allow you to proceed. You will need to repeat this procedure when exiting the building by "swiping" your card over the "EXIT" card reader on the left side of the Security Console on the first floor. (The Security Officer at the Console will show you the exact locations.)
Tenant Suite Access with Electronic Card Readers: If the tenant suite has electronic access control, and you have been approved for access to that suite, swipe your card over the card reader at your suite entrance, and the door will unlock. After a brief delay, the door will lock behind you. When exiting the floor, push the exit button near the elevator lobby doors, and the door will unlock. After a brief delay, the door will lock behind you.
Freight Elevator: An access card reader is installed in the freight elevator, and your access card is required to use the freight elevator after hours. Your card must be specifically programmed for use in the freight elevator. In the interest of safety and security, after-hours access via the freight elevator will be limited. If you require access via the freight elevator, please inform your company or departments Security Access Coordinator for this access.
Lost or Stolen Visitors Badges and Access Cards:
REPORT YOUR LOST OR STOLEN SECURITY ACCESS CARD OR VISITOR BADGE IMMEDIATELY to your company supervisor and to Wells Fargo Center Property Management. Your old card will then be disabled and a new one issued. A replacement fee is charged for lost or stolen access cards.
